Learn to Run Clinic
(LTR)
Prerequisite: no previous
training
Cost: $79.00 + GST
In this run-walk program you will gradually
increase your time running and decrease your walking.
At the end of the 10 weeks you will be able to run
5 km. During this 10 week period, the group will meet
weekly and you will practice twice
on your own or with other members from the group.
Every run will be followed with core strength training
and stretching. This spring we are
training for the Bread and Honey 5km race in Mississauga.
We will cover your race registration fee.
This spring net proceeds from the clinic
will be given to a family who was recently touched
by breast cancer. A local young mother, 25 years old,
was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in her
34th week of
pregnancy. With four children, newborn included, to
care for, this family is in need. Support from family
and friends have been exceptional, but with mom in
hospital, and dad staying home to care for the children,
things are becoming increasingly difficult.

Parent Child Running
Clinic
Prerequisite: no previous
training
Cost: $149.00 + GST
(for the entire family)
Learn to run with you child. We will
run together once a week and you will practice twice
on your own or with other members from the group. Each
week will build from the previous week. At the end
of the 10 weeks you will be able to run 5 km.

you are interested.

5K, 10K & 1/2
Marathon Running Club
This group is designed for runners who
want to increase their distance, or wish to run their
personal best. We will do a group run of varying lengths
and speeds, followed by a cool down stretch. Hill training
will be included if the group is interested.
Prerequisite: Must
be able to run 5 km

This small race was fantastic. It was well organized,
and the food was incredible.
Homemade baked goodies, fresh
fruit and veggies, white and dark chocolate fondue fountains
...
The prizes were great too. Brenda won about
$500 worth of camping equipment.
