Fitness Classes

All classes are intentionally kept small to ensure you get the individual attention you need to achieve optimal results and to avoid injuries caused by incorrect form.

 

Bootcamp (Body Pump): Welcome to the ultimate workout. This total body workout is designed to challenge your balance, strength, agility and aerobic capacity. This class combines high repetition weight training with aerobic conditioning. It will tone and condition your body, can help you to lose weight and ultimately change your body shape, all in record time.

This class utilizes a variety of equipment such as Bosu balance trainers, kettlebells, bodybars, stability balls, medicine balls, grappling bags, glidders, hand weights and resistance bands. This class an efficient and effective way to get a full body workout at your own intensity level. The Fityou Bootcamp is ideal for any fitness level as you can work at your own pace.

Fitness Kickboxing: Do you want a well proportioned body, better speed, and agility? Do you want to improve self confidence, determination, and courage? Then don't miss this class.

Each class lasts for one hour. The lesson begins with a warm-up followed by kicking, punching and blocking; either in the 'air', or onto focus mitts and hand held kick shields. All classes will conclude with strength, abdominal and back exercises followed by stretching.

New techniques are introduced week by week. Starting from a beginner’s level. The first classes should be treated as a starting block. Fitness will undoubtedly improve within the first few weeks as the body is strengthened and conditioned.

Back, Belly & Butt : Tone your abs, butt, lower back & thighs. Work at your own pace to isolate these problem areas. This 30 minute conditioning class is geared for all fitness levels.

Beat Breast Cancer Walking & Exercise Group: This class was designed specifically for women who have experienced breast cancer at any time in their life. Incorporating gentle exercises, relaxation techniques, it is safe, fun and therapeutic. Gentle, but effective exercises improve strength, mobility and flexibility. The classes provide an opportunity for women to share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Better Bones: Physical activity is essential to optimizing both physical & mental health and can play a vital role in the management of both osteo-arthritis and osteoporosis. Regular physical activity can keep the muscles around affected joints strong, decrease bone loss and may help control joint swelling and pain. This class will includes low impact aerobics, muscle strengthening, postural training, balance and coordination, breathing and relaxation. Think of exercise as one part of your treatment program over which you can assert control.

Fit After Fifty: This class you will improve your cardio respiratory capacity, muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination.

Women Only Bootcamp: This outdoor class is specially designed to challenge everyone (regardless of fitness level), it allows you to push the limits at your own pace. Exercises include: short distance running, resistance training, weight training, flexibility training, skipping, crunches, obstacle courses, sports drills, hill running, agility and power drills, medicine ball work, stair climbing, partner drills, circuit training, relay races, and much more.
